Coin Competition Winner

The results are in! The winner of the “Love on Your Teachers” Coin Competition is…Kindergarten with a total of 40,161 points!

The participation of all grades and students resulted in raising $1,021.84 that will be used for supporting Teacher Appreciation efforts! Thank you so much for your generosity!

**Note that “negative points” do not correlate with “negative” fundraising amounts. Negative points come from silver change contributed by other grades to sabotage an opposing grade’s positive points.**

Parent Learning Walks: February 15 & 22

Aurora Frontier will host a limited number of Parent Learning Walks in the mornings and afternoons on both February 15 and 22. Mr. Gasior decided to offer Parent Learning Walks because of community engagement and requests during PTO community meetings this school year!

You’ll get the opportunity to walk the school and observe classrooms and teaching strategies in real time, and will be able to ask questions about what you are seeing. This is a great opportunity to connect with administration and learn more about how teachers do what they do so well. Sign up to attend a Parent Learning Walk here

January School Supply Refresh

This month, PTO was able to purchase and deliver a refresh of school supplies to staff who requested them. The biggest stated need was tissue but we also purchased pencils, markers, fidgets, dry erase markers, headphones, and disinfecting wipes!

PTO was able to purchase these supplies because of your generous participation in Falcon Family Fun Nights from August-December raising over $1,700! Thank you for helping our teachers keep their classrooms stocked for our students!

February Falcon Family Fun Night at Skate City: Tuesday, February 6, 6-8p

Come Skate with us! Skate City is opening just for Frontier! Bring your friends and family! Staff are free and count toward our skater total! Encourage your teachers to attend!

All proceeds benefit STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) at Frontier!

Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. You must provide your own transportation to this event.

Love On Your Teachers Coin Competition

During the week of February 12th-15th bring in your spare change for a great cause! Show some love for your teachers during our “Love on Your Teachers February Coin Competition!” All proceeds will go towards Teacher Appreciation.

How It Works: This is a competition between grade levels. All pennies and paper money will earn your grade level positive points. Put pennies and paper money in your grade level jug. All silver change is negative points. Put your silver change in other grade levels’ jugs to sabotage them and bring their points total down!

At the end of the day on 2/15, all monies will be totaled. The winning grade level will be announced the following week and will win a prize!

Be a sweetheart and start saving your change….your teachers will love you for it!
