Spirit Week: November 13th-17th

Win the Feud, Give Some Food!

We will be competing with Murphy Creek P-8 School to see which school can bring in the most food donations during Spirit Week: November 13th- 17th. Everything donated will be given to SECOR Cares which is a local food bank that thrives to end suburban poverty while restoring hope and livelihood to those experiencing it. Spirit week is a collaboration between Frontier’s Leadership students and the PTO.

Fun Run Summary

The Fun Run raised $20,164 and students ran 13,549 total laps! This is an incredible accomplishment! PTO is overwhelmed by this generosity. Thank you so much for helping to ensure every student in our school will be able to participate in field trips this year!

Classes that raised an average of $35/student won Foam Parties. Classes that raised an average of $45/student won FlashPod Parties, and classes that raised an average of $60/student won Hamster Ball Parties.

Fun Run: October 11, 2023

It’s baaaaack!! Aurora Frontier’s Fun Run will take place on October 11th!! We hope to raise $50 per student and will use the funds for Field Trips! Last year, Field Trips were supported with ESSR/Covid relief funds. Now that those funds are gone, we need help getting our students out into the world (those buses are expensive!).

To get to the Fun Run website and donation page click here or on the flyer.

You are encouraged to cheer our students on and to volunteer! If you are interested in volunteering, please use this Sign Up Genius.

Here is the parent letter detailing more information about fundraising and the Fun Run.

Purchases Thus Far

So you buy spirit wear and go to Falcon Family Fun Nights, but where does your money go? So far this year, your generosity has allowed PTO to fund: two upcoming field trips, one for first grade and one for third grade; school supplies for Frontier’s Interventionists and Specials teachers (all of whom do not have a homeroom class to rely upon); and a delicious dinner for Frontier’s teachers served during conferences September 26, 2023.

Supplies Purchased:

Kleenex, dry erase markers and erasers, bean bag filler, ceiling light covers, fidget toys, wireless headphones, ziplock storage bags, disinfecting wipes, small bottles of water, chair fidget bands, highlighters, pencil grips, and motivational notes. All of these supplies are used to support Frontier’s students.

Conference Dinner:

Soups and breadsticks catered by Olive Garden, salad, dressing, fruit tray, and M&M cookies.
